During the CBD Sustainable Ocean Initiative (SOI) Capacity-Building Workshop for the Wider Caribbean and Central America held in San José, Costa Rica (20-24 Feb 2017),
(https://www.cbd.int/doc/?meeting=SOIWS-2017-01) the CMA2 project was presented as one of the available sources in the region that provides data for environmental managers. The CMA2 was presented as an indicator oriented platform, and the 10 proposed indicators were described. The event was attended by more that 50 participants from 19 countries and organizations of the Caribbean region, who seek training in Marine Spatial Planing in the context of the Aichi targets and SDG14 goals.
